My Story
In 1987 at the age of 18, I had lost my way. During the very rare celestial alignment called the Great Harmonic Convergence, believed to occur once every 10,000 years I had a near-death experience (NDE), or what I call near-death awakening (NDA). To make a longer story shorter, I ended up in the emergency room and my heart stopped. When your heart stops, your not near-death, you're dead. During my NDA my higher self adamantly told me, "Turn around, you're going the wrong way!" Since that moment I've dedicated my life to serving others, with more than 37 years of humanitarian service work, starting as a rescue swimmer in the United States Coast Guard at age 18. Little did I know the certifications of open water, advanced & rescue scuba diver would prepare me to dive deep beneath the surface of people's suffering. Continuing with Search & Rescue missions, Emergency Medical Technician, CPR instructor, firefighter academy & 1st responder training, I saw first hand how emergency care wasn't enough to make sustainable changes. I decided to become a hands-on, education-based, holistic practitioner in many Eastern traditions. I wanted to understand more than just disease and what causes death, I choose to study health, vitality and what caused the body to live & thrive. I chose to study the nervous system because I knew that understanding the system that controlled all systems was the best way in to helping people heal organically. I chose to become a Chiropractor because it was the one field not beholden or controlled by the pharmaceutical industrial complex. In 2006 I passed 6 medical board exams to receive my Doctorate of Chiropractic. I also was certified in one of the most ancient root yogas, Kundalini Yoga-the Yoga of Awareness because I had glimpsed past the vail to understand we were way more than our physical bodies. I continue to learn ancient healing tools, such as Meridian Yoga Therapy, Qi Gong, Emotion Code, Somatic Trauma Release, Sacred Body Language Translation, Vibrational Medicine Techniques and powerful Sound Healing Therapies. In my down time I love to research quantum healing, dive into Darkness Retreats, Shamanic Rituals, Indigenous Ceremony and Sacred Union. One of the questions I frequently ask myself is, "How may I give back, love more & serve others?" One of my favorite quotes by Gandhi is, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service of others."
